Jeremy Bulloch started the Boba Fett movie craze when he donned the familiar Boba Fett costume during the filming of the Empire Strikes Back. John Fass Morton, who played Luke's Snowspeeder co-pilot during the Hoth battle, once filled in for Jeremy Bulloch while he was away on another acting job. John played Boba Fett during the scene where he tells Darth Vader "He's no good to me dead."

Jeremy Bulloch was asked to reprise his role as Boba Fett in Return of the Jedi. By then, Fett was starting to become a star. Mark Austin was one of the many creature animators for Star Wars: A New Hope Special Edition. When it was decided that Boba Fett will make an appearance, he was asked to try on the costume, and ended up standing next to Jabba the Hutt in a once cut scene.

An assistant manager Model Maker at ILM, donned the suit to play Boba Fett's walk-by during the new Jabba's Palace Musical scene.

Don Bies, who had done numerous things for Lucasfilm, including a model operator and eventually the R2-D2 operator for Episode 1. He fitted up the suit for the scenes with Boba Fett hanging out with two female dancers in the new Jabba's Palace scenes.

Daniel Logan is the latest Boba Fett in Episode 2, was very excited when he got the part. While looking through the Star wars Visual Dictionary, he exclaimed, "Wow, I get the jetpack too!"

Boba Fett's first official appearance. was in this 2 hour Christmas special that was a TV only exclusive. It only played once, and was considered to be the worst thing to ever come about from Star Wars. Man of the stars from the movie did voice-overs for the cartoon, then appeared in the live action part afterward.
